Ingredients:
- 1 cup rolled oats (gluten-free if necessary)
- 1/2 cup Forest Super Foods Tasmanian Hemp Seeds
- 1/4 cup almond butter or any nut butter of your choice
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (for a low-sugar option, you can use a sugar-free sweetener like stevia or monk fruit syrup)
- 1/2 cup pitted dates, soaked in hot water for 10 minutes and drained
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Optional mix-ins: chopped nuts, dried fruits, cocoa powder, cinnamon, shredded coconut
Method:
- Blend all ingredients in a food processor until a thick, sticky dough forms.
- Roll the mixture into balls and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Optional: Roll in shredded coconut or cocoa powder for extra flavour.
